Installation of a T2 tap should be carried out by an approved stockist. If you are looking to install a T2 drinking water tap system, there are a few things to bear in mind for a successful installation.

A power socket with 10A power supply within 2m of unit.

Mains potable water supply with min 0.05Mpa (0.5bar)
pressure, within 2m of unit.

Mains waste connection or Bluetooth Waste Kit.

The Borg & Overström T2 is a digital tap system created for high end workplaces and communal areas where design is important but performance cannot drop. The T2 uses a touch control panel on the tap and can be specified with advanced UV purification for extra hygiene. It integrates cleanly into counters and kitchen islands, leaving the mechanics hidden out of sight. The Borg & Overström T2 is a digital drinking-water tap that combines precision control with a clean, contemporary look. It delivers premium filtered water directly from the worktop, with a tall dispense height that makes refilling bottles and carafes easy. With an integrated drip tray and simple touch controls, the T2 gives you a neat, self-contained hydration point that fits naturally into any office kitchen or shared space. EcoMode software helps the T2 manage its power use intelligently, cutting energy consumption by up to 70 percent when demand is low.

Cleaner, safer drinking water
Totality is Borg & Overström’s five-stage approach to water quality on the T2 tap. Filtration and hygiene controls work together to reduce sediment, odours, chlorine and microplastics, so every glass of water tastes clean and fresh. For sites that need even more reassurance, Viovandt UV purification can be added. This uses LED ultraviolet light inside the system to provide chemical free disinfection and to help reduce bacteria and viruses at the point of dispense.

ProCore and DryChill performance
At the heart of the T2 is the compact ProCore undercounter unit, designed and built in the UK. This modular system contains the refrigeration, controls and cooling technology in a single, service friendly package that sits discreetly in the cupboard space below. DryChill tankless cooling runs inside ProCore, chilling water as it flows rather than holding it in a reservoir. This airless, rapid cooling process improves hygiene, cuts the risk of contamination and ensures each serve is consistently chilled.

Sustainable, bottleless hydration on tap
The T2 tap is built for busy, shared environments where reliability and easy cleaning matter. The plated finish is durable and simple to wipe down, and the antimicrobial touch panel uses silver ion protection to support hygiene in high use areas. By connecting directly to the mains and using eco refrigerant gas, the Borg & Overström T2 replaces single use plastic bottles and basic coolers with a permanent, bottleless solution. It gives workplaces, education sites and hospitality venues a practical way to encourage refilling while serving high quality drinking water all day.

ProCore
The engine that powers the T1 under the counter. It is a compact, modular cooling and control system that is shared across the latest Borg & Overström products. This gives you consistent performance, easier servicing and a clear upgrade path if you add more systems later. ProCore uses efficient compressors and modern refrigerants, and the steel chassis is built for long term commercial use.

DryChill
The tankless cooling technology inside the T1. Instead of storing a volume of pre chilled water, it chills water as it passes through an aluminium cooling block. This reduces the risk of contamination and removes the need for a standing water reservoir. It also helps the system recover quickly after repeated fills, so users experience consistently cold water even during busy periods.

Totality
Borg & Overström’s hygiene and filtration approach, and it applies to the T1 from factory build through to daily use. Machines are sanitised before they leave the factory, then paired with multi stage filtration to improve taste and remove odours, chlorine and fine particles. You can also specify Viovandt UV purification on the T1 for added protection at the point of dispense, supporting higher hygiene expectations in shared environments.

EcoMode
EcoMode is Borg & Overström’s intelligent energy management system for the T2, designed to cut running costs without affecting performance. The tap uses built in sensors to monitor light levels and inactivity, automatically entering a low power standby mode when the area is dark or not in use. This prevents unnecessary chilling of water overnight or during quiet periods, reducing electricity use and supporting sustainability targets. When users return, the T2 quickly resumes normal operation, so you keep the benefits of premium filtered water with a smaller energy footprint.
