Installation of a T1 tap should be carried out by an approved stockist. If you are looking to install a T1 drinking water tap system, there are a few things to bear in mind for a successful installation.

Key dimensions
Undercounter cupboard of min size H500mm x W500mm x D500mm.

Minimum clearance above countertop of 385mm.

Requirements
A power socket with 10A power supply within 2m of unit.

Mains potable water supply with min 0.05Mpa (0.5bar)
pressure, within 2m of unit.

Mains waste connection or Bluetooth Waste Kit.

Installation Kit including water filter.

Totality is Borg & Overström’s 5 step process for delivering cleaner, healthier water through the T1 tap. It helps reduce sediment, odours, chlorine, and microplastics, so every pour tastes fresh and crisp. For added reassurance, you can specify Viovandt UV C purification. This ultraviolet LED technology sterilises the water without chemicals, helping to reduce bacteria and viruses for extra peace of mind in busy workplaces.

Engineered and assembled in the UK, the Borg & Overström T1 tap is powered by the compact, modular ProCore system with discreet ventilation that tucks away neatly in the cabinet space. The integrated DryChill airless cooling technology delivers rapid chilling while keeping the system sealed from air contact. ProCore
The engine that powers the T1 under the counter. It is a compact, modular cooling and control system that is shared across the latest Borg & Overström products. This gives you consistent performance, easier servicing and a clear upgrade path if you add more systems later. ProCore uses efficient compressors and modern refrigerants, and the steel chassis is built for long term commercial use.

DryChill
The tankless cooling technology inside the T1. Instead of storing a volume of pre chilled water, it chills water as it passes through an aluminium cooling block. This reduces the risk of contamination and removes the need for a standing water reservoir. It also helps the system recover quickly after repeated fills, so users experience consistently cold water even during busy periods.

Totality
Borg & Overström’s hygiene and filtration approach, and it applies to the T1 from factory build through to daily use. Machines are sanitised before they leave the factory, then paired with multi stage filtration to improve taste and remove odours, chlorine and fine particles. You can also specify Viovandt UV purification on the T1 for added protection at the point of dispense, supporting higher hygiene expectations in shared environments.
